Matthew Liverman

Matthew Liverman brings more than a decade’s worth of trial experience to Cruz & Associates’ workers’ compensation practice. He has a background in handling all aspects of workers’ compensation claims and litigation, including initial investigation, depositions, written discovery, trial, appeals, and drafting briefs and motions.

Matthew previously served as an assistant attorney general with the Georgia Department of Law, assistant public defender for the Cherokee Judicial Circuit, staff counsel for a national insurer, and a large litigation firm. He has served as a steering committee member of the State Board of Workers’ Compensation Annual Educational Conference and has spoken at numerous workers’ compensation seminars throughout Georgia. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama and his law degree from the Regent University School of Law. Matthew lives in Atlanta with his wife and two children.
