On September 13th, the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GHCC) recognized a group of individuals as the 50 Most Influential Latinos in Georgia. These individuals were selected for their professional achievements and the wonderful contributions they have made to improving the community in the state. Among the honorees were successful artists, media personalities, athletes, as well as business leaders and civic leaders. We are proud to announce that among this distinguished group of leaders, our founder and president, Ruben Cruz, was recognized for his 30 years of service to the Latino community and his work promoting the education and development of Latino youth through the Alcanzando Un Sueño scholarship program . Ruben is a pillar for the community and an example for other Latinos who, like him, came to this country with a desire to excel.

Ruben was born in Havana, Cuba, to a hard-working family who immigrated to the United States when he was 7 years old. His parents always instilled in him the importance of education and hard work to become a successful lawyer and entrepreneur. Today, Ruben stands alongside this group of distinguished individuals, who in their own unique way, work to make the path easier for other immigrants. His purpose is to serve, protect, and lift up families like his own, who contribute greatly to the progress of this country we now call home. “I am very grateful to the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for this recognition and hope it serves as an inspiration to new generations to strive to serve the community as well,” said Attorney Ruben Cruz.
